Welcome Commuters! We are so excited you have chosen Agnes Scott!
As students who live off campus, you will have unique experiences that are not experienced by your peers. While we can’t prevent Atlanta traffic, we can make your life a little easier by providing you with lounges specifically for you in the Alston Campus Center. We also provide lockers for commuter students to obtain for the academic year. Locks can be checked out in the Gue Pardue Hudson Center for Leadership, Engagement and Service (Alston 216). We are committed to ensuring your transition to Agnes Scott is smooth and exciting.
As your Agnes Scott experience will be different from your residential peers, we've adapted your Legacy: New Student Orientation experience as well. You will be able to check in on August 18th from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. If you choose to check in early in the day, you'll be able to spend your day exploring campus and getting to know your new peers! Commuter students will also have a meeting on August 18th at 5:30 PM with other Commuter students to discuss what it's like to be a Commuter at Agnes Scott. Other than those two changes, Commuter students are expected to participate in the entirety of the Legacy: New Student Orientation experience.
