Congratulations! Your student is about to become a Scottie and join a community dedicated to the ideals of Agnes Scott College, to think deeply, live honorably, and engage in the social and intellectual challenges of their times.
We recognize that the transition to college can be difficult for both students and their families, so we have developed an orientation program designed to support students as they adjust to the academic and social culture at Agnes Scott and to help families as they support their students and transition to life at home without their new Scottie. As part of Legacy: New Student Orientation, we have special programs designed for families and Scottie Supporters which typically include panels with Agnes Scott staff and faculty and workshops on aiding your student’s transition.
