Campus Safety

We know a safe environment is a welcoming learning environment.

At Agnes Scott, the safety and well-being of our community is a priority. Our Public Safety team works tirelessly to provide day-to-day security to our students, faculty and visitors. We have also put in place a number of emergency services and procedures to deliver continuous protection to everyone on campus.

Reporting a Crime or Incident

In case of an emergency, call 404.471.6400 to reach our Public Safety officers. To speak to a mental health professional during business hours, contact the Office of Personal Counseling at 404.471.6117. After hours, call the Office of Student Affairs emergency number at 404.216.0942.

Services & Programs

Our community takes a proactive approach to campus safety and security. Learn more about initiatives like our night-time escort service and taxi fund, and our crime prevention and safety classes on topics like first aid and self-defense. For drivers, we have parking lot surveillance and motorist assistance.

Safety Tips

Every student receives a copy of "A Community Guide to Playing It Safe" at the beginning of the academic year. Our comprehensive report is updated annually and includes crime-prevention tips, reporting procedures and key safety resources on campus.
