One of the best features of living in Georgia is the weather. With an average high of 52°F (11°C) in January and 89°F (32°C) in July, our students enjoy plenty of study time outdoors on our beautiful quad lawn.

Ringing the Bell
Recognized as one of every Scotties’ proudest moments, Ringing the Bell is one of Agnes Scott’s longstanding, valued and heartfelt traditions. Each year, members of the senior class are invited to ring the bell and sign their names in the bell tower when they receive acceptance into graduate/professional school or a job offer.
Agnes Scott Garden
The Agnes Scott Garden is an organic garden hosted by the Office of Sustainability where students, faculty and staff volunteer to demonstrate how to sustainably raise an organic garden on a small urban scale.
