International Students

Welcome International Students!

We are so glad you will be joining our Scottie family! We are excited to learn about you and your culture, share ours, and together explore our diversity and commonalities.

As an international student, your transition to college may pose some unique challenges; in addition to starting college, you are moving to a new country with different norms, customs, and foods.

To help you navigate this transition, you will participate in our International Student Orientation (ISO), designed especially to help you acclimate to College life in the U.S. alongside other incoming international students.  ISO occurs on Tuesday, August 12th and Wednesday, August 13th.  During the program, you'll get a head start on exploring campus and the surrounding Decatur area, learn about campus resources, and get to know your fellow Scotties.  The Center for Global Learning (CGL) organizes and leads your International Student Orientation, and you can expect to receive more details from CGL about ISO in July.

After International Student Orientation, you will join Legacy: New Student Orientation starting Friday, August 15th with the rest of your incoming Scottie class.  International Student Orientation and Legacy: New Student Orientation have both been carefully crafted to help prepare you to thrive at Agnes Scott College!
