Program Overview

Advance your academic knowledge and skills to apply to competitive medical and health professions programs.

Building on decades of preparing students for careers in medicine, the Master of Science in Medical Sciences program offers students a year of intense study and practical clinical experience.

This graduate program is designed for students who have already completed pre-medical coursework and seek advanced study before applying to medical school or pursuing other health professions programs or related professional opportunities.

The current global pandemic spotlights how health professionals are key to addressing the intellectual and social challenges of our time. In addition to the rigorous advanced study of laboratory sciences, our medical science students also gain an understanding of health disparities and the ethical issues that arise during medical research and patient care.
