Building on nearly three decades of success, we offer a graduate-level, cohort-based, in-person program designed for the high-achieving student who is preparing to apply to medical, dental or veterinary school. As a graduate certificate, the program is eligible for federal financial aid, which may help you invest in your next step if you need it.
The Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical Accelerated program at Agnes Scott is a selective pre-medical laboratory science program designed for students who are career-changers who have excelled in their past academic career and want to apply to medical, dental or veterinary school.
You benefit from a community of dedicated faculty and advisers who will help you achieve success in preparing for medical school or other health professions program. We’ll help you develop a customized action plan for your medical or health professions application process — everything from MCAT preparation to personalized committee letters.
*Based on qualified students who completed our Post-Bacc Pre-Med program between 2014 and 2020 and who scored =/+ the 50th percentile on the MCAT.

Our small post-baccalaureate program classes are taught by caring, dedicated and experienced faculty, ensuring you’ll receive personalized attention and mentoring guidance.

Agnes Scott College partners with Mercer School of Medicine and Morehouse School of Medicine with a linkage agreement for Pre-Med Post-Baccalaureate students who meet specific criteria.
Eligible students enrolled full-time in this master’s program are invited to apply for early assurance admission through this linkage to the MD degree at Mercer School of Medicine or Morehouse University School of Medicine.
Agnes Scott also maintains other strong relationships with premier health care institutions and hospitals in Atlanta, including Emory School of Medicine and Presbyterian College School of Pharmacy.

As a student in our accelerated Pre-Med Post-Baccalaureate program, you’ll collaborate with health professions advisers to develop your personalized med school or health professions application path. Eligible students receive personalized, detailed committee letters. Each letter is tailored to your specific application needs. You can take advantage of this service for up to one year after you complete the program.
As an added perk, all medical sciences students receive an Interfolio account. Health professions advisers guide you through the process to store committee letters and application materials in your Interfolio Dossier, which connects directly with the American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS).
