Teaching and Scholarly Interests
Shoshana completed her post-doctoral work at the University of California, San Francisco where she researched the fundamental differences between tolerance and autoimmunity. Throughout her career in education she has worked to engage students in the learning process and support their learning with pedagogical approaches that promote understanding and retention of course content. Shoshana’s current research interests include how to promote student success and critical thinking skills using innovative and effective teaching practices and active learning strategies.
