Program Overview

Distinguish yourself with graduate level coursework to prepare for the competitive medical and health professions programs application process.

Building on decades of preparing students for careers in medicine, the Master of Science in Medical Sciences Accelerated program offers you a year of intensive study, including a physician-designed signature course series to enhance your competitive profile.

This graduate program is designed for students who have already completed pre-medical coursework and seek advanced study in small classes as they prepare for medical school or other health professions programs. Students begin coursework in summer as part of a cohort, completing the program the following May.

The global pandemic spotlights how health professionals are key to addressing the intellectual and social challenges of our time. In addition to the rigorous advanced study of biomedical sciences, our medical sciences accelerated students also gain an understanding of health disparities and the ethical issues that arise during medical research and patient care.
