Birmingham-Southern Transfer Students

Students Affected by Birmingham-Southern College's Closure

We understand the deep sadness and stress the closure of Birmingham-Southern College causes for its current students and community members. Agnes Scott's Office of Undergraduate Admission seeks to help make the transfer process for those students who may wish to continue their degree at Agnes Scott a smooth and painless one.

If you are a current student at Birmingham-Southern College, please read on for information on how to apply to transfer to Agnes Scott. If you are a current high school student who intended to enroll at BSC, you may APPLY THROUGH OUR TRADITIONAL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT APPLICATION PROCESS.

How to Apply as a BSC Transfer

Applicants should complete our transfer application via the Common App.

  • The deadline to submit your application is June 1.
  • We also recommend submitting your FAFSA to Agnes Scott College as soon as possible, so we may provide you a financial aid package.
  • If you have questions about the application, please reach out to our transfer admission counselor, Jaunice Vega, at or 404.471.6419.
