High School Joint Enrollment

Are you ready to start earning college credit while in high school?

Then you are ready to join Agnes Scott College's Joint Enrollment program!

Agnes Scott's joint enrollment program is co-educational, and any high school senior is welcome to apply. High school seniors enrolled in the program can earn college credit by taking classes at Agnes Scott. All first-year courses without a prerequisite are open to joint enrollment students on a space-available basis.

*Please note: Agnes Scott does not participate in Georgia's Dual Enrollment Program, formerly known as Move on When Ready (MOWR) or ACCEL.

“Doing joint enrollment in high school really helped me fall in love with going to college. I enjoyed the flexibility in my schedule and the freedom it gave me.”

Important Application Information

Applications must be submitted at least one month before the start of the semester in which you plan to enroll; therefore, we strongly encourage you to apply by these dates.

  • Fall admission: July 10
  • Spring admission: December 10
As a joint enrollment student, you will be evaluated with the same grading scale as our undergraduate students. Agnes Scott will issue transcripts to your high school for credit and to colleges and universities for credit evaluation. In addition, all courses completed with a satisfactory grade can be credited toward a degree at Agnes Scott.

As a joint-enrollment student, you pay 50 percent of undergraduate tuition. These are the tuition rates for joint enrollment students for the 2022-2023 academic year:

  • 1-11 credit hours = $947.00/hour
  • 12-16 credit hours = $11,364/semester
  • A $330 student activity fee is required if you take six or more hours in a semester.

As an example, a joint-enrollment student taking a standard four credit hour course will pay $3,788.

College financial aid is not available to joint-enrollment students.
