Don’t Cancel Class
The Wellness Center is launching a new classroom partnership initiative designed to support learning, well-being, and engagement across the semester.
We know that meaningful learning happens in many forms, and sometimes the most impactful moments occur when students are invited to pause, reflect, and build skills that support their academic, emotional, and relational lives. With that in mind, we are offering the opportunity to collaborate with you by bringing wellness-focused programming directly into your classroom.
Our team can facilitate sessions that align with your course goals, student developmental needs, or campus-wide themes. Workshops may include:
- Mental health literacy and coping strategies
- Managing stress, burnout, and perfectionism
- Identity, belonging, and resilience
- Motivation, habits, and academic well-being
- Performance anxiety, communication skills, or boundary-setting
- Wellness topics customized to your discipline or student group
Whether integrated into planned curriculum, used during a workshop day, or offered as an alternative when schedule conflicts arise, these sessions are designed to enhance—not replace—the learning experience already happening in your course. For faculty who occasionally need substitute coverage due to travel, professional obligations, or unforeseen circumstances, this may also serve as a supportive option rather than canceling class.
If you are interested in scheduling a classroom visit or exploring potential collaborations, please submit a request using this link.
