Shine a Light Program
The Shine the Light Employee Recognition Program celebrates faculty and staff who exemplify Agnes Scott College's six core values: Community Builder, Inclusive Leadership Champion, Scottie Supporter, Eco Friendly, Innovator, and Kudos & Thanks. Employees can give and receive recognition year-round through Paycor, and annual award winners are selected from these nominations. Employees can find instructions available on the MyAgnes intranet at Agnes Scott College.
I Am Agnes, We Are Agnes
The I Am Agnes, We Are Agnes employee recognition program supports this goal by giving employees the opportunity to recognize colleagues whose work strengthens our community and advances the college's mission. These awards are given to employees during Community Day. The program includes the following award categories:
- I Am Agnes, We Are Agnes Excellence Award (ASC staff): Honors a staff member who shows exceptional service and dedication aligned with the college's strategic pillars.
- I Am Agnes, We Are Agnes Excellence Award (Aramark and Collegis staff): Recognizes an Aramark or Collegis team member whose outstanding contributions reflect the college's mission and values.
- Inclusive Leadership Staff Award: Celebrates an ASC staff member whose work fosters access, belonging, and a strong sense of community.
- Green Champion Award: Acknowledges a faculty or staff member who makes significant contributions to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
- Team Innovation Award: Recognizes an office, department, or cross-unit team that demonstrates creativity and innovation in supporting student success, enhancing the campus experience, or improving processes and services.

Each year, Agnes Scott College proudly hosts a ceremony to honor employees who have reached important service milestones. From 5 years to 45 years of dedicated work, we celebrate the commitment, loyalty, and contributions of our staff. This special event highlights the remarkable achievements of our colleagues and provides an opportunity for the entire community to recognize and thank employees for their years of service.
