The Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical flex program at Agnes Scott College is designed for students who want to strengthen their academic credentials to apply for medical, dental or veterinary school.
Our structured cohort flex program is the ideal path if you need to complete or update any or all your core science prerequisites and improve your academic record before applying to medical school. You can complete the program on a 12-month full-time or 24-month part-time schedule.
Our dedicated health advising team will help you develop a customized action plan for your medical or health professions application process — everything from MCAT preparation to supplemental support and workshops to personalized committee letters. In fact, 100 percent of qualified Agnes Scott College master’s and post-baccalaureate students were admitted to the medical school or health professions program of their choice during the 2022-2023 medical school application cycle.*
*Qualified applicants are defined as those who completed their program at Agnes Scott with a 3.50 GPA or higher and scored at or above the 50th percentile on the MCAT/DAT/GRE.

Students in our flex Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical program credit our small cohort model for enhancing their learning experiences. Our post-baccalaureate program classes are taught by caring, dedicated and experienced faculty, ensuring you’ll receive personalized attention and guidance from mentors. You’ll also benefit from close collaboration with a supportive network of peers.

Agnes Scott College and Morehouse School of Medicine are partners with a linkage agreement for post-bacc students who meet specific criteria. Eligible students enrolled full-time in the post-bacc flex program are invited to apply for this linkage to the MD degree at the Morehouse University School of Medicine.
Agnes Scott also maintains strong relationships with premier health care institutions and hospitals in Atlanta. We partner with Emory School of Medicine, Mercer School of Medicine, Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) and Presbyterian College School of Pharmacy.

You’ll collaborate with experienced health professions advisors to improve your academic record and develop your personalized med school or health professions application path. Eligible students receive personalized, detailed committee letters for your application. Each letter is tailored to your specific application needs. You can take advantage of this service for up to one year after you complete the program.
As an added perk, all post-bacc pre-med students receive an Interfolio account. Health professions advisers guide you through the process to store committee letters and application materials in your Interfolio Dossier, which connects directly with the American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS).
