collage: a colloquium for undergraduate students in studio art and art history

The 8th annual Collage art colloquium will take place on Friday, March 21 at Agnes Scott College.  Collage is a student initiated and organized colloquium that invites undergraduate student from ARCHE Program (Atlanta Regional Council for Higher Education) college and universities to submit topics for art and art history presentations as well as works of art for a juried exhibition.  This year there will be over forty participants from multiple institutions, including Agnes Scott College, Emory University, Georgia State University, Kennesaw State University, Spelman College, University of Georgia, and University of West Georgia. 

The schedule of events is as follows:

1:00-4:45 PM: Student Presentations, Dana Fine Arts Building, Room 101

5:30-7:00 PM: Keynote Address, Terri Weissman, Art Historian, Bullock Science Center, Teasley

7:00 to 9:00 PM: Reception and Exhibition Opening, Dana Fine Arts Building, The Dalton Gallery. 

Gallery talks by selected artists will begin at 7:30

The Collage exhibition will continue until March 28th.  Gallery hours are Mondays through Fridays 10 am- 4:30 pm and Saturdays from noon-4 pm.
