Guest Information

The College’s 137th commencement ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 9:15 a.m.

Guest Parking and Check-In

Guest parking is available in the West Parking Facility at 137 S. McDonough Street or the East Parking lot at 184 S. Candler Street behind Charis Books. Parking lots will open at 7 a.m. Volunteers will be on hand at both locations to check in all guests for access to the ceremony area.

There will be two primary parking areas and points of entry for guests of graduates:

  • West Parking Facility (137 S. McDonough Street)
  • East Parking lot (184 S. Candler Road behind Charis Books)

If you are using rideshares like Lyft or Uber, your drop-off address is the West Parking Facility.

Should any guests have special needs, please complete this form to allow our staff to best accommodate your experience.

Golf carts will be available at all parking locations for those who need additional assistance.

Location

The outdoor Commencement ceremony will be held on campus, on the Science Quadrangle, rain or shine. Seating for the platform party, graduates and a limited number of guest tickets per graduate will be available in a tent, open on all sides. Additional seating will be provided outside the tent. Guests are encouraged to bring umbrellas to protect themselves from the elements, where necessary.

Tickets

  • Each graduating student will receive four guest tickets (electronic) for seating under the tent.
    • Each ticket will have a QR code, which serves as the guest’s ticket and will be shared by the graduate.
    • Contactless ticketing will be used. Printed or electronic tickets will be scanned and cannot be used more than once.
  • Space for guests without tickets will be available outside the tent on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • All graduates, guests, faculty, staff and vendors will be given wristbands upon arrival.
  • Guest seating is organized by color-coded wristbands. Stay tuned for the wristband distribution schedule. Wristbands must be worn at all times while on campus.
  • Children under the age of two who can sit on a parent’s lap do not need tickets.

Accessibility Needs

Graduates who have guests with special needs should complete this form to allow our staff to best accommodate your experience.

Parking and check-in for guests with special needs will be in the Presser Parking lot on S. McDonough Street. Guests in personal or rented wheelchairs will enter the venue through this parking lot.

  • A sign-language interpreter will be present.
  • The college does not provide wheelchairs for mobility-impaired guests. Equipment may be rented from the following providers:
