Location

The outdoor Commencement ceremony will be held on campus, on the Science Quadrangle, rain or shine. Seating for the platform party, graduates and a limited number of guest tickets per graduate will be available in a tent, open on all sides. Additional seating will be provided outside the tent. Guests are encouraged to bring umbrellas to protect themselves from the elements, where necessary.

Tickets

  • Each graduating student will receive four guest tickets for seating under the tent.
  • Each individual ticket will have a QR code. The QR code serves as the guest’s ticket and will be shared with guests by the graduate.
  • Contactless ticketing will be used. Printed or electronic versions of the ticket will be scanned upon arrival and cannot be utilized more than once.
  • Space/seating for guests without tickets will be available outside the tent on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • All graduates, guests, faculty, staff and vendors will be given wristbands upon arrival. Wristbands will be provided so that ushers can identify guests for the different seating locations. The wristband must be worn at all times while on campus.
  • Children under the age of two who can sit on a parent’s lap do not need tickets.

As a vaccinated campus, Agnes Scott encourages our guests to be vaccinated for COVID-19. For those visitors who are not, we request that you wear a mask when in the company of others.
