Community Partners

Without our community partners, Agnes Scott College would not be able to meet the needs of both our community and our students. If you are a community partner and you have a service opportunity that you would like to advertise or would like to make yourself known to Agnes Scott, we encourage you to create a profile for your organization on our Scotties Serve website. In addition to advertising to Agnes Scott students, your posting will be visible to other colleges and companies using the Give Pulse platform. By creating an account, you also can gain access to a free version of Give Pulse's software to use as a volunteer management tool for your organization.

Here are some step by step directions to assist you in the creation of your events in the Scotties Serve platform:

  1. Go to http://agnesscott.givepulse.com.
  2. In the upper right-hand corner select "List for Free".
  3. This brings you to a page where you can either list an open opportunity (contact us for more details or long-term commitment) or a day event.
  4. Once you complete the details for this event, you will be directed to a page where you can either "list with a local group" (if your organization has an account already) or "create a new group" if this is the first time your organization is posted. By creating your own group, you will be able to fully manage your postings and students will be able to join your group and receive updates on postings.
  5. Do not select the Agnes Scott College group from the drop-down menu. This is restricted to full-service events sponsored by the college. Your event and group will be visible to students without selecting the Agnes Scott group.
  6. Once you have created your profile, you can visit the Agnes Scott Group page and click the "affiliate" to link our two pages and compile a list of organizations for students.

Information regarding internships (both paid and unpaid) may be directed to the Office of Internships and Career Development.
