You're Invited to Admitted Scottie Days!

Congratulations on being admitted to Agnes Scott College! With this acceptance, you are well on your way to becoming a part of a community of leaders and global change agents. While you consider your college plans, we want to make sure you have all of the information you need to make your choice to become a Scottie.

How do we do that? Through our Admitted Scottie Days, where you will have the opportunity to meet other Future Scotties, learn more about life at Agnes Scott, ask any pressing questions and learn about your next steps for enrollment.

Three Options for Your Admitted Scottie Day Experience

We’ll be hosting three special Admitted Scottie Days events, and we hope you will join us for the one that best fits your schedule.

Students who attend one of these events will automatically receive a $1,000 Scottie Scholar Grant, renewable for up to four years of study at Agnes Scott.

Learn more about each of your options below. To register for the event, you will need your Agnes Scott Application Portal login information. These are the credentials you used to check the status of your application. If you have misplaced this information, please reach out to the Office of Admission by calling 404.471.6285.

Parents, siblings and other guests of students are welcome and encouraged to participate in our Virtual Admitted Scottie Day event! During this event, while students are in their Academic Mock Class, there will be specific programming for guests to learn more about our Agnes Scott community. Please note that a second device will be needed in order to view this content.

We will be using ZOOM to connect with you during this event. There are a few things to know to best take advantage of this technology.

We recommend participating in the LIVE event using a laptop or desktop as that will give you the best viewing and interaction capabilities. You can download the free desktop version of ZOOM at zoom.us and create a free account.
If viewing from a mobile device you will need to download the free ZOOM Cloud Meeting application from your device’s app store. The app is free but standard download rates apply.
Being connected to Wi-Fi will allow for the best consistency in video quality.
For the parts of the program that are open to both students and their guests, we recommend tuning in together.

Students are welcome to bring guests with them to Admitted Scottie Day on campus. There will be dedicated programming for parents and guests during the event.

Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport is the closest airport to campus. From the airport, travel options include:

MARTA- Atlanta’s public transportation option (Red or Gold line to Five Points Station, Blue Line to Decatur)
Rideshare services- including Lyft and Uber
Hotel shuttles
Rental car
