Opening Convocation & Senior Investiture

Agnes Scott College cordially invites you to join us for Opening Convocation as we celebrate the start of another school year. During the convocation, we will honor our seniors with a special investiture ceremony and acknowledge students who are recipients of special awards.
Senior Investiture, which originated in English universities, is one the college’s oldest traditions. During the investiture ceremony each senior is capped with an academic mortarboard as a symbol of their status at the college.
