New Format for 2021

Video Presentations and Discussions
We eliminated the traditional posters and talks. Instead, students will create short presentations including video of themselves describing their slides for approximately 3 minutes. The CDVL will have templates and sessions to help students prepare to do this. The CWS also will be available to help students. These presentations will be posted on a WordPress site before SpARC so people can view them.
Example Presentation

The day of SpARC, presenters will be assigned a time and a breakout room on Zoom to discuss their presentations with attendees.

Note: if a student already has a poster, the student will be asked to convert the poster to a short presentation.

Interdisciplinary Panels
In addition to the discussions about the video presentations, we will have a series of interdisciplinary panels that are about research such as "How the pandemic has affected data collection for research projects." Students, faculty, and alums will be part of the panels. If you have an idea for a panel and know of possible panelists please contact Bridget Roosa (broosa@agnesscott.edu) and Jenny Hughes (jhughes@agnesscott.edu).

Schedule
SpARC will begin at Noon with an introduction to SpARC and a dance performance
Throughout the afternoon we will have discussions about video presentations and interdisciplinary panels
At 4p.m. we will have math trivia with teams consisting of students, faculty, and staff
