Parents and Family
The Parents Program is an integral part of The Fund for Agnes Scott. Each year the generosity of parents provides scholarships, library resources, improved technology and more. Parent supporters enable us to implement exceptional programs and initiatives that prepare our students to live lives of purpose.
We invite you to consider joining the Parents Council.
The Parents Council provides support for the Fund for Agnes Scott and reaches out to other Agnes Scott parents to enlist their support of the Fund for Agnes Scott. Our parent volunteers enjoy gaining a deeper appreciation for the experience their children are having at Agnes Scott.
Council Members are asked to make a gift to the Fund for Agnes Scott that is commensurate with your philanthropic capacity and passion for Agnes Scott.
Fundraising Volunteers
Educate parents about the importance of giving to Agnes Scott and ask them to join in supporting the Fund for Agnes Scott
Stewardship Volunteers
- Send personalize thank you notes to parent donors. Call incoming families to welcome them to ASC each spring on behalf of the Parents Council. Follow up with these families during the fall of a student's first year to provide support and guidance.
- Serve as ambassadors to help strengthen relationships between parents and the College and identify potential leadership donors and volunteers from your network
- Participate in other opportunities as you are able, such as offering internships at your company or speaking on campus
Council Members can expect:
- Meaningful impact at the College through your philanthropy, engagement and volunteerism.
- Exclusive access to hear top ASC administrators and faculty at events.
- Connection with fellow parents through outreach and on-campus opportunities.
- Staff assistance in navigating ASC and deeper engagement with specific areas for you and your student.
