Explore the possibilities through over 50 student run organizations advancing academic, cultural, athletic, political, social, religious, and service objectives. Expand your leadership skills. Take part in the greater community through community engagement projects. Immerse yourself in experiences that promote an understanding of self, others, and the world. The Gué Pardue Hudson Center for Student Engagement encourages students to get actively and intentionally involved, and serves as a primary resource for diversity, leadership, service and wellness programs and activities.

Effective leaders must possess an ability to work collaboratively with others and demonstrate an appreciation for individual differences. Through active student engagement, Scotties can develop transferable skills that help them grow as a leader, including navigating group dynamics, developing valuable interpersonal skills, and promoting a shared vision among a group of individuals toward a common purpose.
