Teaching and Scholarly Interests

Professor Corbi Sandoe has been a practicing PA since 2017, working in the Pediatric ICU at the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Spending her childhood in Africa before returning to the U.S. for her undergraduate studies fueled her passion for providing holistic medicine to underserved patient populations. While earning a master's in public health, she focused on community development by creating and implementing tangible goals that would benefit the community's overall health. Professor Sandoe has extensive public health experience working with international organizations such as Samaritan’s Purse in Kenya, CARE International, and locally, with refugee populations in Clarkston, GA. Professor Sandoe’s teaching interests include public and community health, continuous quality improvement, and pediatrics.
