The Catalyst Leaders Program is a three-year, cohort-based leadership development program that helps you further establish your identity, develop your purpose, live honorably and create change.

Year One: Developing Purpose

Starting in your sophomore year, you'll participate in a one-day program focused on learning to develop your own authentic path, connect to groups and causes which you care about and commit to a plan to be a catalyst for yourself and the groups to which you belong. During the program, you'll explore:

  • Decision-making
  • Resiliency
  • Life-mapping
  • Identifying passions and areas of interest within global contexts
  • Connect your major and/or specialization to your purpose

Year Two: Living Honorably

In your junior year, you'll continue to expound on the skills developed by participating in the National Student Leadership Diversity Convention (NSLDC). During the conference, you'll select a process, issue or system affecting your community to critically examine and research during your senior year of Catalyst. The conference covers the following topics:

  • Ethical leadership
  • Social justice
  • Global citizenship
  • Critical-thinking
  • Leading in a diverse world

Year Three: Affecting Change

At the closing of year three, you'll share your Leadership Journey. Our center will provide all of the supplies that you need to create that presentation. Graduates will receive a graduation cord to symbolize the completion of the leadership program. Year three's topics include:

  • Leading and executing change
  • Global citizenship
  • Articulating leadership on my resume
  • Networking
  • Senior celebration and presentation to Catalyst leaders and the Agnes Scott community
