Lauren Church

lauren-church_small.jpgLauren (she/her/hers) is a sophomore planning to major in Public Health with a double minor in French and Economics going into her first year as a tutor for the Center for Writing and Speaking. Her dream is to go into the Peace Corps then become an epidemiologist working for a global non-profit organization.  Lauren was born and raised in Tennessee where she loves to go hiking, kayaking, and exploring with her friends. She also enjoys reading and writing which led to her interest in becoming a tutor for the CWS.  She serves as a Secretary for Agnes Scott's Model UN Club as well as a member of a youth-led organization on campus which promotes energy equity in the Metro-Atlanta Area. When she is not in meetings all around campus, Lauren enjoys rock climbing, training for marathons, going to yoga, making pottery, reading Harry Potter, and eating at cool new locations with her friends.
