We are excited to announce that applications for our 2021-2022 Living-Learning Communities are now open!

Living-Learning Communities (LLCs) at Agnes Scott offer dedicated and distinctive themed living options to students. LLCs offer a sense of belongings and purpose through planned programs, off-campus trips, dialogue and discussions, and faculty interactions centered on the community's interests. Since members have shared interest and mission, LLC residents can expect to build genuine relationships and lifelong friendships with members of the Agnes Scott community and beyond.

We are hosting two upcoming informational sessions for students, faculty and staff to learn more about our living-learning communities and the application process. The first info session will be held on Monday, April 5 from 12-1:00pm on Zoom (click here for the link). We will be hosting the second info session on Wednesday, April 7 from 7-8:00pm in-person in the Winship Lobby. We hope to see you there.

Please note the following regarding the online application:

  • You do not need a declared major or a SUMMIT specialization to live in an LLC. Please either enter your desired major or "undecided" if necessary. We will talk about an "intent to declare" document regarding the SUMMIT specialization.
  • You may list a roommate preference but please note, both individuals must apply to live in the LLC. Each application will be evaluated based on its individual merit. If you are both selected, you can live together. If only one of you is selected, the selected individual will have the opportunity to accept placement in the LLC with either a different roommate or in a single (limited), or they may decline to live in the LLC allowing a spot to open for the applicant with the next highest application score.
  • The application is primarily short answer questions. There is no length requirement or restriction; however, the responses do not need to be long. Please be concise.
