Agnes Scott College is a residential liberal arts institution. The residential environment is a key component of each student’s college experience. Students enrolled at Agnes Scott College are expected to live in on-campus housing for the duration of their tenure at the college. The housing lottery is a structured process to ensure students are placed in on-campus housing in the most objective way possible. The housing lottery takes place in the spring semester of each year. Students who require special accommodations or who plan to request to live off-campus are required to complete specific forms during the lottery process which can be found on our Policies and Forms page.
Agnes Scott offers a wide variety of housing options and emphasizes personal choice in a competitive assignment process. We encourage you to explore the diverse options available for on-campus living. The guide linked on this page, along with visits to different residence halls and discussions with your peers, will help you select optimal housing for your life as a student at Agnes Scott.
This Housing Lottery Guide is for 2015-2016. If you are not able to take part in the Housing Selection Days, you must send a Proxy to take your place in the selection by filing out the Proxy Form, and submitting it to the Office of Residence Life by the date found on the Housing Lottery Guide calendar. For 2016-2017 Housing Lottery Guide and Dates, please revisit this page in January 2016.
Room and board charges for the upcoming spring semester will be applied to student accounts in late October/early November 2015. Current residential students are encouraged to confirm their Spring 2016 housing status and/or submit special requests for changes before November 1, 2015. Please use the link provided above.
