Behavioral Health Professions Service Cancelable Loan (BHP-SCL)

We are excited to share an external, serviceable loan forgiveness opportunity that may be available to qualified graduate students in Agnes Scott College’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling master's program to fund your cost of attendance.

The Georgia Behavioral Health Professions Service Cancelable Loan (BHP-SCL) is a great resource offered by the State of Georgia and administered by the Georgia Student Finance Commission.

The loan is only available to students in applicable programs, such as our Clinical Mental Health Counseling master's program. Qualified recipients must be considered Georgia residents 12-months prior to receiving the loan award and must complete the specified service requirements upon graduation, as defined by the Georgia Student Finance Commission.

The application process for the BHP-SCL has to be completed annually. Before applying for a BHP-SCL, you must have a GAfutures student account with Social Security Number for secure identification and have a current year FAFSA on file.
