During this tumultuous time in our world, Agnes Scott is committed to its mission to "engage the social challenges of our times". Through the Engaging Social Challenge Series, the Gay Johnson McDougall Center for Diversity and Inclusion has developed two webinar series:
- The COVID-19 podcasts highlighting the social inequalities of the global pandemic
- The Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation courageous conversations about racism and hate
The COVID-19 pandemic is highlighting the many social inequities affecting our communities-- nationwide, globally, and even within ASC. As such, the Gay Johnson McDougall Center for Diversity and Inclusion worked with various Agnes Scott faculty, staff, and alums to bring forward these important implications through a series of webinars addressing this momentous social challenge.
