Student Complaints

Agnes Scott College strives to address student concerns in a responsive and prompt manner. Students are encouraged to resolve concerns themselves by first talking directly with the college representative involved. The vice president for student affairs and dean of students is available as a resource for students who have complaints. The college acknowledges, however, that students have a right to file a formal complaint against the college through any of the procedures listed below.

Agnes Scott College Student Complaint Policy

Agnes Scott College has an official Student Complaint Policy, which may be found in the Student Handbook. According to this policy, a student who is not satisfied with the outcome of the informal complaint process may file a formal written complaint by completing a Student Complaint Form, which is also available in the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs and in the Office of Academic Advising.

Students may appeal the outcome of the Agnes Scott College process through the Georgia Non-Public Post-Secondary Education Commission (GNPEC) regardless of the state in which they are residing while enrolled in the class. Contact the commission at 2082 East Exchange Place, Suite 220, Tucker, Georgia 30084-5305 or call 770.414.3300.
