The Agnes Scott College Department of Economics and Business Management is seeking applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor to begin August 2024. This position is a one-year appointment with teaching responsibilities at the undergraduate level, three courses each semester. Introductory classes typically have 25-30 students, and upper level classes have 10-15 students. A full listing of courses in the Economics program can be found here. Visiting Faculty will teach ECO215 Statistics for Business, ECO 338 Econometrics, ECO207 Macroeconomics, and elective courses. A PhD or equivalent terminal degree is required for a Visiting Assistant Professor position; MA, MS, and ABD candidates will be considered for appointment at the Visiting Instructor level. Evidence of excellence or promise of excellence in teaching at the college level is also required.
