Part-time Instructor (Artist Affiliate) in Flute

The Agnes Scott College department of music is seeking a part-time instructor (artist affiliate) to teach applied lessons in flute and piccolo at all levels during the academic year 2014-15. The successful applicant will have a minimum of a master’s degree in Flute performance and demonstrable ability to play the flute; in addition to standard classical repertoire and flute technique, knowledge of and interest in composers from underrepresented groups and from outside the Western canon, is a plus. Candidates will also be asked to provide evidence of excellence in teaching at the college level.
