Kirk Pre- or Post-Doctoral Fellowship, Latin American History

The Agnes Scott College History Department invites applications for the Kirk Pre-/Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Latin American history for Spring 2014. This one-semester fellowship offers mentored support to an early-career teacher-scholar in a liberal arts environment. Candidates must either have received a Ph.D. in History within the past five years or have attained ABD status in a History graduate program. The teaching load will consist of two courses, a survey of modern Latin America and an upper-level course in the fellow’s area of expertise. In addition the appointed fellow will make a public presentation to the campus community.
