Christian Adegbaju

christian-adegbaju-photo_small.jpgChristian (she/her/hers) is currently a third-year student majoring in English Literature & Creative Writing and (maybe) minoring in Human Rights with aspirations of becoming a lawyer. This is her first year tutoring and she is more than excited to help her fellow Scotties improve their writing and speaking skills. Her areas of interest are creative writing, outlining, and brainstorming, but she is more than happy to help in other areas. She currently serves as the SGA Representative for the Commuter Student Organization and outside of school she frequently volunteers with Georgia Equality to canvas votes and informs people of elections. She currently interns at a law firm and is a UHLC Pre-law Pipeline Scholar and a St. John’s Pre-law Program Scholar. Having grown up in an over-policed minority community, she wants to use a law degree to eventually impact positive change in her community. She hopes to attend Howard University School of Law after she graduates, with a focus on civil rights law. In her free time, Christian enjoys reading books, thrifting, going on small adventures in the city, sleepovers with her friends, cooking with her family, and listening to music (most of which she is looking forward to getting back to when the current state of things gets back to some level normality.)
