Felicia Jacques

felicia-jacques-photo_small.jpgFelicia Jacques (she, her, hers) was born in Connecticut but she grew up in McDonough, Georgia. Felicia grew up in a Haitian household as the youngest child of three girls. Haitian culture lived and thrived in her home. She celebrated Haitian holidays, honored Haitian traditions, and learned Haitian customs. Currently, she is a Senior majoring in Business Management and Africana studies with a leadership specialization. Felicia cultivated her interest in Business and Africana studies in high school. Inspired by the animated discussions, astonishing readings, and intensive lessons she decided to explore these subjects in college. Now, Felicia has a key passion for drawing out the skills and abilities people have to ensure that they are valued employees who are reaching their fullest potential. Felicia is always seeking the opportunity to drive a pipeline and easy access to members in the Black community with the necessary tools, skills, and support they need to succeed, thrive, and flourish in the business world. When she’s not studying, you can find her snuggled up in bed reading a book, writing poetry, or participating in organizations around campus. Felicia also enjoys watching romantic comedies and superhero related shows. Felica serves as the Vice President of Pinky Promise trying to share the love of God on campus. Felicia has been playing tennis for 10 years and understands what it means to work individually and on a team. Felicia’s tutoring style consists of low key interactive exchanges that encourage students to step out of their comfort zone. Overall, Felicia is ready and excited for her final year of tutoring.
