Data Visualization (Graduate Certificate)

Data Visualization is more than pie charts and pretty colors. Our Data Visualization Graduate Certificate program teaches you to understand the latest methods in data analysis and visual design to become a successful data storyteller with the ability to convey complex insights persuasively.

Data in its raw form rarely portrays information in a clear, compelling and insightful way. Students in our program learn to apply concepts from computer science, statistics, psychology, ethics, and visual design to develop meaningful visualizations for diverse audiences.

Program Plan

In the Data Visualization Graduate Certificate program, we offer you the flexibility to tailor your education to your unique interests and career goals with electives from other Agnes Scott graduate programs, including Applied Technology, Evaluation and Assessment Methods, Social Innovation, and Writing and Digital Communication. 

Class Schedule

Each class meets once per week for 2 hours, 30 minutes:

  • Monday through Thursday at 6:30 - 9:15pm, or
  • Saturday at 9:00 - 11:00 am or 1:00 - 3:45 pm
