In need of a quick program or a training later? The GJM Center for Global Diversity and Inclusion is glad to support you and your team. 

Programs to Go

These 40-45 minute programs are interactive and are ready to deliver. Due to schedules, we ask that you provide advanced notice when scheduling these programs.

  • Diversity Awareness: Learn about all the areas of diversity and Agnes Scott College diversity on campus
  • Stereotypes: Expose stereotypes and the importance of communicating effectively. Explore personal biases.
  • Microaggressions: Identity and respond to microaggressions effectively.
  • Navigating a Diverse Campus: Learn how to make the most of your diverse college experience.
  • Alphabet Soup: A pronouns 101 session and why they matter.

Training Series

These programs are more in depth and can be one to two hours. They are designed for faculty, staff, and student leaders and require more preparation time to meet the needs of the audience.

  • Implicit Bias Training: This 2-hour training will define implicit bias, share the ramifications, and consider ways to counteract bias.
  • Supporting Undocumented Student on Campus: A 2-hour training that gives an overview of undocumented student challenges and shares best practices on how the campus can support their success. 
  • Safe Zone: Though this program is generally offered via stand alone whole campus sessions, you can request a training specific for your team. 
  • Customized training sessions for your team!
