Agnes Scott College invites applications for a Principal Faculty Member of its developing Physician Assistant Program.

Agnes Scott College PA Program has applied for Provisional Accreditation from the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA). The anticipated matriculation date is October 2025, pending achieving Accreditation-Provisional status at the agenda meeting.

Responsibilities include PA classroom and laboratory instruction, small group facilitation, and student
advisement. Principal faculty will assist with course development, admission processes, and accreditation ongoing review. Principal faculty will serve on program, department, and college committees. Principal faculty are encouraged to actively participate in service to the profession through engagement in professional organizations. This is a 12-month, non-tenure track, full-time (1.0 FTE) faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank, pending experience.

Successful candidates will be licensed or license-eligible as a physician assistant in the State of Georgia, maintain current NCCPA certification, and have a master’s degree or higher in physician assistant studies or related fields, or currently be a licensed and board-certified MD or DO (If current license is out-of-state then must be eligible to obtain a GA license.) Candidates must also have a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience. Stronger candidates will have experience in PA education. The start date is negotiable.
