Rededication Celebration
On October 26, more than 150 donors and trustees filled the Elizabeth Kiss Welcome Center in Rebekah Scott Hall to celebrate the rededication of the historic building after the completion of a multimillion-dollar renovation. President Leocadia I. Zak—as well as Clyde Tuggle, national co-chair of The Greatness Before Us campaign, and Elizabeth Holder ’82, chair of the Board of Trustees and national co-chair of The Greatness Before Us campaign—spoke about the importance of Rebekah Scott Hall and thanked the donors and partners that made the renovation possible. Guests also heard from Alexa Gaeta ’98, vice president for enrollment and dean of admission, and Ann Glendinning ’68, trustee and chair of the Environment and Facilities Committee. Gaeta shared how the renovated space, including new spaces for the Office of Admission, is supporting recruitment efforts for prospective students. Glendinning brought exciting sustainability news to guests—Rebekah Scott Hall’s recent achievement of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum Certification.
