Life On Campus

You Are Known Here

Students participating in community service.

Bring All of Yourself

Every part of who you are has a place here. The education bends toward you, making room for the person you're becoming, the questions you're asking and the path you're building for yourself. At Agnes Scott, you get to figure out who you are with the full weight of the Scottie community behind you.

Scottiehood Is Forever

Rushing to decorate the Woodruff Quad in your class colors during Black Cat Week. The dance party at AgnesPalooza. The bell you'll ring when you land your first job. Every tradition connects you to every Scottie who came before and reminds you that you belong to something that started long before you arrived—and will be yours long after you leave.

Explore Our Traditions

The Sophomore Ring Ceremony marks your place in a tradition that connects generations of Scotties.

Lead from Day One

There are more than 60 student organizations where women set the agenda and make decisions that actually matter. Eighty percent of Scotties are also involved in community service, putting their leadership into practice on and off campus. That's what happens when you're treated as capable of anything from the moment you arrive.

Get Involved

Whatever you're passionate about, there's a Scottie—or 20—who feels the same way. Around here, ambition always finds company.

Life Between Classes

Some of the most important parts of an Agnes Scott education happen outside the classroom. The conversation that continues over coffee at the Black Cat Cafe. The late-night study session that turns into a friendship. The walk back from the dining hall that becomes your favorite part of the day. Living on campus is how Scotties learn from one another, support one another and discover they never have to figure things out alone.

Explore Housing & Dining

Whether you start in Winship Hall with fellow first-year Scotties or join a mix of first-years and upperclassmen in Walters Hall, you'll find a community that quickly feels like home.

A Deeper Practice

Your religious and spiritual life has a place here, too. Agnes Scott welcomes students of every faith tradition, and our campus chaplain creates space to deepen your own faith while learning from those whose experiences and beliefs may be different from your own. If you're looking to grow spiritually, you'll find opportunities for worship, fellowship, service and study.

Find Your Faith Community

Julia Thompson Smith Chapel and the multi-faith meditation room create space for worship, reflection and moments of quiet throughout your day.

Stay Balanced

You have big goals. Taking care of yourself is part of reaching them. Agnes Scott's Wellness Center takes a holistic approach to your well-being, supporting your physical, emotional, spiritual, financial, intellectual, environmental and social health. From a full-time nurse practitioner to licensed counseling professionals, you'll find the support you need to keep moving forward.

Learn About Health & Wellness
