Student Life

Involvement in student life is an essential part of your college experience, an integral part of the start of a lifelong journey of exploration, seeking knowledge and transformation. At Agnes Scott, the opportunities abound. Seize the opportunities afforded to you. Delve into experiences that will enhance your self-awareness, where you will discover who you are and what your passions are. Immerse yourself in opportunities that will expand your awareness and understanding of others around you, opportunities that will lead you to discover your place in this global world, your capacity to effect change, your capacity to assume active roles in your communities, your capacity to make this world a better place.

Residential life is at the heart of the liberal arts college experience. We are a residential campus by design; some of the most significant opportunities for growth take place outside the classroom-in the residence halls, through service projects, in clubs and other student programs and activities.

Community Engagement

Do you have a cause that is close to your heart? Two? Three? You’re among friends. More than 80 percent of Agnes Scott students are actively involved in community service. Explore the opportunities available to serve.

Student Support Services

There are a number of programs, services and resources available to meet your needs and support your success as an Agnes Scott student.

Leadership Opportunities

Students have endless opportunities to get involved. We have over 45 student organizations. Our students have a voice on campus—they are part of the college governance system. They serve in college communities, they are empowered to shape their educational experiences. Through a variety of leadership programs, experiences and opportunities, students develop the knowledge, skills and abilities to affect positive change and inspire others to make a difference in the world.

Nothing instills a sense of community better than strong traditions. With some customs dating back more than a century, Agnes Scott students share a rich history of enduring values and strong women.
