Research Opportunities

Our students participate in and complete several research projects during their time at Agnes Scott.

Our students often become first authors on publications and/or give presentations at regional, national, and international conferences.

Many of our students work in labs on campus, such as:

Cognitive Neuroscience and Animal Behavior (CNAB) Lab with Dr. Bonnie Perdue

College Student Development and Global Cultural Competence Lab with Dr. Janelle Peifer

Psychological and Physical Effects of Commuting Lab with Dr. Jennifer Hughes

Intersections Research Lab with Dr. Maryam Jernigan-Noesi

Some students join labs off campus such as: Emory Autism Center, the Yerkes National Primate Research Center, Zoo Atlanta, etc.
