About:

The Dorothy Travis Joyner Faculty Innovation Fund was established by anonymous donors in consideration of their abiding interest in the College as well as their deep affection for Dorothy Travis Joyner ’41.  The fund is used to support faculty innovation.

Applications Due:

1 February (annually) at 5:00 p.m. Atlanta time

When the 1st falls on a weekend or holiday, the due date is the first business day after the 1st.

Amount:

Varies

Project period:

For summer projects, from date of award through 31 August (of the same calendar year)

For academic year projects, from date of award through 30 June (of the next calendar year)

Who is Eligible:

All ASC faculty members.

Activities Funded:

Travel, research grants, purchase of special equipment, or for student assistants

Who reviews proposals:

Agnes Scott College’s Professional Development Committee (PDC)

Who awards funds:

VPAA/DOC in consultation with the President and upon recommendation from the PDC

Final report due:

30 September (by email to OSP@agnesscott.edu)
