Alumnae Spotlight

Shaday Gallimore graduated from Agnes Scott in 2006 with a Psychology major and Business and Economics minor.  She is from St. Andrew, Jamaica and currently lives there.  After Agnes Scott she earned a MA in Industrial and Organizational (I-O) Psychology from the University of West Florida.  She currently is the Research and Planning Officer at National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited (NCB).  NCB is the largest financial group in Jamaica.  She lists the best things about Agnes Scott as “the diverse women I had the opportunity to share, learn, and grow with; professors who truly pushed me to be the assertive and efficient woman I am; and the way in which my education there allowed me to develop my ‘over achiever’ skills :).”  She felt that every single psychology course she took was engaging and taught her a world of things that she has applied to her work.  Shaday is passionate about dance and she danced from the age of 4, through college and ultimately retired from the National Dance Theatre Company of Jamaica in 2011.  She danced professionally, while still holding a full-time job!  Her photo was taken at work.
