Psychology

Angela Vivi Hudson graduated from Agnes Scott in 2014 with a degree in Psychology. She values the sense of community and friendship she found at Agnes Scott. The psychology program at Agnes taught her to keep an open mind, speak out, and stay informed. Angela is grateful for having the diverse psychology experiences while in school – these range from participating in all facets of research with several professors and having more hands-on experiences on internship. Following Agnes Scott, she landed in Jacksonville, FL where she attended the University of North Florida's (UNF) Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. While there, her passion for counseling and mental health grew as she worked with adults and children in a variety of roles, including as a teacher, case worker, individual and group therapist. She moved back to Atlanta in 2017 (and married her husband on Agnes Scott's campus!) Currently, she is working on her Clinical Psychology Psy.D. at Mercer University. Her interests involve mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, and diversity issues. Her photo was taken in Tucker, GA.
