Susan B. Hitchcock Executive Development Fellowship Recipient

Turknett Leadership Group and Agnes Scott College Announce the Recipient of the Susan B. Hitchcock Executive Development Fellowship

Tuesday, February 9, 2021

Atlanta, February 9, 2021—Paige Sullivan ’13, marketing manager at Central Atlanta Progress, has been named the 2021 Susan B. Hitchcock Executive Development Fellow by Turknett Leadership Group (TLG) and Agnes Scott College. Sullivan graduated from Agnes Scott in 2013 with a bachelor of arts in psychology and creative writing (summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa). She then received her master’s degree in creative writing at Georgia State University.

“Like me, Paige began her leadership journey at Agnes Scott. She now has over seven years of advanced education and solid business experience,” said Susan Hitchcock ’67, TLG executive director emeritus of the Women in Leadership series. “She’s perfectly positioned to maximize this very special opportunity for self-reflection and growth as a leader. I see tremendous potential for her career progression, and I couldn’t be more excited for my younger Scottie sister.”

Sullivan is the inaugural Susan B. Hitchcock Executive Development Fellow. The fellowship will focus on Sullivan’s professional development for the next 9-12 months through high-level assessments, feedback and career coaching provided by a TLG senior consultant. This special partnership between Agnes Scott and TLG will continue for the next five years with a new Agnes Scott fellow selected each year.

“It’s no surprise that Scotties—especially ones like Susan who has been an invaluable advocate for professional success at the college—look to connect and help fellow Scotties succeed after completing their Agnes Scott education,” said Agnes Scott President Leocadia I. Zak. “I’m thrilled for Paige. She’s a wonderful representative for Agnes Scott, and she’ll certainly be one for TLG.”

The fellowship was created as a tribute to Hitchcock’s years of dedication to both Agnes Scott and TLG, as well as an avenue to identify and develop high potential women professionals into stronger leaders.

“Bob [Turknett] and I are thrilled to honor Susan’s long service to Turknett Leadership Group with this fellowship,” said Lyn Turknett, TLG co-chair and co-founder. “Paige exemplifies the kind of woman we want to support—someone who is dedicated to learning and dedicated to service.”
