Teaching and Scholarly Interests
Professor Bayless has taught single variable calculus, college algebra, and selected topics in mathematics. Her research interests are in the areas of analysis, dynamical systems, ergodic theory, infinite measure-preserving systems, and mathematics education. Her current research focuses on entropy of infinite measure-preserving transformations. She studies transformations which arise naturally in physics, complex dynamics, and harmonic analysis.
