Rachael is the admission counselor for both incoming graduate students and post-baccalaureate pre-medical students. As a graduate of Meredith College, Rachael was a student advisor and tour guide. Rachael led campus tours, presented at open house days and supported first-year students through their transition into college. After completing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Interpersonal Communication from Meredith in 2018, she went on to receive her Master of Education in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of South Carolina in 2020.

Rachael’s focus throughout her master’s program was supporting students in the transition from high school into college. This background provides her with strong experience as the first point of contact for master’s degree-seeking and post-bacc pre-med students. As an avid believer in life-long learning, Rachael enjoys working with graduate and post-bacc students because of their dedication and enthusiasm to become their best selves to help the world become a better place.

Rachael's advice for prospective graduate students?

“It’s important to find a program that will make you an even better version of yourself that isn’t strictly related to academics, but to help you succeed in all areas of your life. The process of higher education requires all of you, physically, emotionally, and socially. Find a program and institution that supports all of you as you grow and become even stronger!”
