Celebrate 132 Years of Agnes Scott
This year Founder’s Day will be a weeklong virtual program celebrating the transformation of Agnes Scott College and the lives of its students. We will reflect on the college’s past, celebrate the present, and look towards the future. Each day this week, a video will be released featuring alum, undergrad and graduate students, as well as a video from Casey Westerman, college archivist and librarian, discussing the history of Founder's Day and Agnes Scott traditions. On February 19, join us for a live Zoom event with alum, Portia Morrison ’66 and current students Ché Carter ’21, Katja Quintero, current student in the Master of Arts in Writing and Digital Communication program and Jayla Norman ’23 in conversation with Yves-Rose Porcena, vice president for equity and inclusion, discussing PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE: Transformations at Agnes Scott.
Watch videos of Scotties detailing Agnes Scott's past, presented by Portia Morrison '66, present, presented by Che Carter '21 and future, presented by Katja Quintero, below. Also, watch a special video from Jayla Norman '23 on Samuel Harper.
