It's Revolutionary: Why Women's Education Matters | Elizabeth Kiss | TEDxCentennialParkWomen

Speaking at the TEDxCentennialParkWomen event earlier this year, President Kiss explored the centrality of education to “one of the most profound resolutions in all human history . . . the women’s equality revolution.”

“The single most powerful tool in the women’s equality revolution is education. Both here and around the world, if you educate a woman, you not only liberate her mind, but you change her society. I am privileged to be a part of that revolution for women’s equality every day as I work for Agnes Scott College,” said Kiss.

The third annual TEDxCentennialParkWomen event was held on May 29 and was a sold-out event with music, performances and talks on education, medicine, business, personal growth, gender bias, women in the workplace and more.

TEDxCentennialParkWomen’s mission is to help curate and share “ideas worth spreading” that educate, inspire and empower women. Visit tedxtalks.ted.com to learn more.
